About FlyerHunt
Our Mission
FlyerHunt is a Canadian grocery flyer and deals aggregation platform. We help Canadian shoppers save money by collecting, organizing, and surfacing the latest flyer deals and promotions from over 150 major Canadian retailers.
If you've ever flipped through a stack of paper flyers at the kitchen table trying to figure out which store has the best price on chicken thighs this week, FlyerHunt is built for you. We do the cross-referencing so you don't have to.
What We Do
- Flyer aggregation: Weekly flyers from major Canadian supermarkets including Walmart, Costco, No Frills, Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Metro, FreshCo, Food Basics, and 140+ others.
- Price tracking: Historical price trends per item so you can tell a genuine discount from a "sale" that's still above the 90-day average.
- Shopping lists: Create and share lists with family to plan grocery trips efficiently across multiple stores.
- Multi-language: English, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, to serve Canada's diverse communities.
How It Works
FlyerHunt automatically aggregates publicly available flyer data from across Canada. Each item is indexed with its sale price, original price, validity window (start and end dates), merchant name, and category. Most Canadian retailers release new flyers on Thursdays; we typically sync new data within a few hours of publication, so you see what's on sale the same day the flyer drops.
We don't sell anything ourselves — when you find a deal you like, you go to the retailer to buy it (in-store or online). FlyerHunt is purely a discovery and comparison layer on top of public flyer data.
Editorial Standards & Pricing Accuracy
Prices on FlyerHunt come from the merchant's own published flyer. We don't override or modify them. That said, occasional discrepancies happen — a retailer might post a flyer price that differs from the in-store price, or a flyer gets revised after we sync it. When you spot a wrong price, please email us at [email protected] and we'll investigate within 24 hours.
We never accept payment from retailers in exchange for featured placement, ranking, or "best deal" labels. Items are sorted by popularity (driven by genuine user clicks, with crawler traffic excluded), discount percentage, or category — never by any commercial relationship.
Expired Deals
Flyer deals have explicit validity windows. Once a deal expires, the item is no longer eligible for the in-store discount. We keep expired item pages reachable for anyone who landed on an old link from a search engine or shared message, but we mark them as noindex so search engines don't surface stale offers as if they were still active.
About the Founder
FlyerHunt is built and operated by Yaming, a Chinese national working in Canada. The site started as a personal tool to help my family navigate the weekly flyer churn after we moved here — every grocery dollar matters when you're rebuilding a household in a new country. If it's useful to you too, that's the whole point.

How We're Funded
FlyerHunt is supported by Google AdSense ads displayed on listing pages. We don't take affiliate commissions from retailers, and we don't have sponsored placements. This means our ranking and "deal of the week" picks are based purely on the data, not on which retailer is paying us.
If we ever introduce affiliate links in the future, we'll disclose it clearly on every affected page and in this section.
